STAMP VIRUS CONTAINMENT ROOM
Welcome, visitor!
This space is dedicated to the study of various Stamp Virus specimen in a contained and secure environment. The stamps here have been treated with a protective solution, enabling safer handling while examining and extracting samples.
The Stamp Virus can cause stamp-related activities to become highly addictive. While the phenomenon can be a positive one from a productivity and community-building perspective, an uncontrolled stamp addiction can disturb daily routines and, if left untreated, cause various ailments, such as fatigue, headaches, muscle cramps, dehydration and irritability.
Even with the safety measures in place, caution is advised!
Monitor yourself closely after being in contact with the Stamp Virus specimen and keep an eye on the following symptoms and side effects linked to long-term exposure:
- unusually intense desire to collect, display and organize stamps
- unusually intense desire to spread stamps around via comments or mail
- unbearable urge to create new stamps
- unbearable urge to create specifically Glorp-themed stamps (G-Variant specific symptom!)
- visual and auditory hallucinations urging to any and all aforementioned behaviours
- vivid dreams (related to stamps)
- disregard for own personal health, well-being, hygiene or equivalent basic needs (in order to spend more time stamping)
- loss of interest in other recreational activities and artforms
- increased irritability, sadness or anger related to one or more of the following: not being able to make more stamps, not having enough stamps, stamps not being organised nicely enough, stamps not turning out looking the desired way, etc.
If you believe you have been infected with the Stamp Virus, consider the following treatment options (that also work as preventative measures):
- take regular breaks when engaging in stamp-related activities
- stay hydrated and take care of your basic needs before you start creating stamps
- keep an eye on the clock and avoid stamping late at night (the virus is more potent after sundown and sleep deprivation intensifies stamp-related delirium)
- discuss your stamping habits with a trusted friend or family member
If you are experiencing symptoms not described above and suspect them to be caused by the Stamp Virus, report any such instances to the mansion owner!
