you've found Glorp's room!

You've probably seen these little green guys around lurk by now, and uhh...you can kinda blame me for that. When I drew the first Glorp stamp I just wanted to draw one cute lil guy.

Little did I know Glorp's popularity would explode like this soon after...

Now there's a whole collection of Glorps available from me and other lurkers that you can view here! Enjoy!

(and be sure to send over your Glorps if you want them displayed!)

SUBJECT NAME: GLORP

aka Glorpy, Glorb, Glorbo, Glorper, Glopir, etc.

AGE: ???

SPECIES: Unknown alien lifeform

APPEARANCE: Glorp appears in various shades of green, has shiny black eyes, purple toe beans, and a pink nose and tongue. Most of the time Glorp resembles a cat with two antennas on its head, but he is capable of shapeshifting into various other forms. Glorp's body is stretchy and clay-like in consistency, allowing him to move around effortlessly in different environments and fit through tight spaces, making him difficult to catch or contain. Sometimes he even appears to split into several Glorps at once, acting as a sort of hivemind spreading around Lurk.

ABILITIES: Shapeshifting, hypnosis, dimensional travel, multiplication, possible more to be discovered?

PERSONALITY: Glorp is known to be quite mischievous and prone to causing all sorts of chaos, but he is by no means hostile in nature. Glorp is playful, curious and friendly, but may turn aggressive, scratch and bite if teased too much or kept captive for extended periods of time.

OTHER NOTABLE INFORMATION: Glorp has an insatiable appetite, especially for snacks. There is reason to speculate that his insides contain, in fact, a black hole capable of consuming any matter he ingests. If not fed often enough, he may result to eating nearby furniture and decor.

THE MANSION OWNER'S REPORT ON THE CREATURE KNOWN AS 'GLORP'

ENTRY 1 - APRIL 2026 - DISCOVERING THE CREATURE

I have finally decided to begin writing my report on the strange creature residing in my mansion.

I first discovered him soon after entering this place and beginning my renovations. I observed the creature snacking on the remaining reserves from the pantry. He did not appear in any way hostile towards me, and simply seemed to enjoy watching me reorganise the main hall, while keeping in close proximity to the guestbook. If I am not mistaken, he appears to enjoy reading visitors' entries, or at least inspecting the stamps they have left.

I am unsure whether the creature understands our language and harbour even heavier doubts about its abilities to communicate back verbally. Despite its catlike appearance, it does not seem to meow. Instead, it tends to buzz, whirr, and make crackling noises from time to time. Is it purring? Or perhaps imitating the sounds of construction it hears in the mansion? Whatever the case, the ways it communicates are beyond me. And yet, in some strange way, I feel like most of the time I understand exactly what it tries to tell me (give snacks, play with me, work harder human...) , as if it feeds the thoughts straight into my brain somehow...

ENTRY 3 - MAY 2026 - THE STRANGE TOME

I recently found an ancient-looking tome while clearing out the old mansion library. It is bound in thick leather and embossed with peculiar patterns. A golden gemstone is embedded at the centre of the front cover, and it feels warm to the touch and glistens like gentle sunrays.

Inside I discovered texts in a language I could not understand or even identify despite my background in translation and linguistics. Each page is covered in strange glyphs and my gut tells me these are spells or incantations of some sort.

I also noticed that many of the pages look as if someone has been chewing on them, and I think I can guess who the culprit is...

Most notably, one of the pages had been torn loose and it appears to depict a familiar green creature. Was this tome used to summon the creature into the mansion? Is this the source of its powers?

The matter requires further investigation...

ENTRY 2 - APRIL 2026 - STAMP VIRUS OUTBREAK

I have decided to call the creature 'Glorp' and have begun drawing small pictures of him in order to study his anatomy. To my surprise, my little sketches seem to delight my model immensely! It all started with one stamp, but seeing his excitement, I quickly felt an urge to draw him again and again.

I now suspect that the creature has some strange influence over any visual depictions made of him: they appear to multiply and spread around visitors' pages at an alarming rate!

This "Stamp Virus", as I like to call it, luckily does not appear to have any adverse symptoms (yet), though it does tend to have peculiar effects on those exposed to it. People who come into contact with Glorp (or imagery depicting him) often present signs of increased happiness, feelings of comfort and elevated energy levels. Some even feel compelled to make their own renditions of Glorp, thus further contributing to the spread of the virus.

I will need to monitor the situation closely on my end. For that purpose, I have gathered samples of all known Glorp depictions on this page.

ENTRY ? - JULY 2026 - GLORPSODA

First came the heatwaves and now this! It's green. It's goopy. It's everywhere. It tastes faintly of cheese but you can't stop drinking it.

The Glorpsoda appeared overnight. A flash of hope in the scorching summer heat. A refreshment to boost our energy and keep us hydrated. But is it harmless?

I thought best to confine the rest of the batch in the basement for further study (and taste testing). But it cannot be contained! Bottles keep appearing all over lurk, popping seemingly out of thin air.

Is there any way to stop it?
